Have you received the Promise since you believed?
Acts 19:2
The final words of Jesus before He ascended was: "You shall receive
Power." Acts 1:8
Paul renders it as being sealed by the Promise that Jesus made.
Ephesians 1:13
This Promise of the Holy Spirit is told by the prophets who visualized God pouring
out His Spirit on them...
Isaiah 44:3 -- I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring.
Ezekiel 39:29 -- I will ........... on the house of Israel.
Joel 2:28 -- I will ........................ on ALL people.
Notice how the revelation has grown from offspring to ALL people.
What are the Signs of the Promise?
Luke 3:22 --- Dove.
John 7:37-39 --- Drink.
Acts 2:15 --- Drunk?
Acts 2:33 --- Doused; Dipped and Drenched.
How do I Qualify to receive this POWER?
ASK ---------- Luke 11:13 -- From the Father.
BELIEVE --------- Galatians 3:5,14 -- By Faith.
REPENT and be BAPTIZED ----- Acts 2:38 -- Forgiveness of Sins first.
RECEIVE in PRAYER ----- Matthew 21:22 -- Faith, not Favoritism.
Why do I need this POWER?
To Testify Unashamedly --- Romans 1:16; Acts 1:8; Corinthians 2:4.
To Trample Satan ------------ Romans 16:20.
To Teach and Tell ----------- Colossians 3:16; Acts 4:8.
Why is this promised Power Important?
The Alternative is:
Slavery -- ROM 8:15.
Timidity -- 2TIM 1:7.
Lack -- Psa 34:9-10.
Why are so many Christians Powerless?
They don't know what their inheritance is...
Hos 4:6 -- Destroyed by Lack of Knowledge.
Eph 3:6 -- Deceived to live as Paupers when we are Heirs and Princes.
Time to take back what the enemy has stolen:
